Join us for the Forgotten Trades Festival at the Jindera Pioneer Museum, a special event dedicated to celebrating the craftsmanship and trades of bygone eras.

 

This bi-annual event, scheduled for Sunday, 23rd February 2025, offers a rare opportunity to witness skilled artisans at work, showcasing trades that have largely disappeared from modern life.

What to Expect:

  • Live Demonstrations: Watch artisans demonstrate trades such as blacksmithing, shingle making, knife crafting, stone masonry, and more.

  • Interactive Displays: Explore the new Working Machinery space and stroll through the museum’s extensive exhibits.

  • Family-Friendly Environment: Enjoy a day out with the whole family in the museum’s beautifully shaded grounds.

  • Food and Entertainment: Savor a variety of offerings from food trucks, local wines, and live entertainment throughout the day.

Entry: 

Adults $12

Chilcren $5

Family $33 ( 2 adults and up to 3 children) 

Our events  and the Museum are 100% volunteer run.

Proceeds for our events go towards our Museum expansion Project.
